First, I want to thank everyone who participated in the first ever Makeup Mixup last week. Miranda and I loved seeing all of your looks. It was so much fun. Everyone had great looks, but Sarah’s look stood out to me because she used red, white, and blue in such fun ways.
Remember, linking up is easy. Just link to my or Miranda’s blog and share the love by commenting on others’ posts! (Please mention that you are linking up with The Makeup Mix-Up… this will help get the word out of our little group. That means more exposure for you, too!)
Now, for the fun part —
I love to play up the eyes in a makeup look. I think my eyes are my favorite feature, so they are usually the things I try to make “pop” most often. Every now and again, I like to play up the eyes with a wing, even if it’s just a small wing. This is how we “wing it out”.
I seriously love how fierce Miranda’s look is. It’s absolutely HOT. That smokey wing is working for her, isn’t it?
I should note: I planned on making this a more dramatic wing and in my makeup mirror, it seemed fairly dramatic. But alas, with my eyes fully open you can hardly tell. Darn these hooded eyes, sometimes.
