I don’t know about you, but I am always in the market for healthy recipes. When I find something that works, I ride that pony hard. Recently, I discovered a recipe on Pinterest (original post) for Blackened Chicken with Avocado Sauce. I don’t know about you, but I always put a spin on recipes I find. I hardly ever make a recipe exactly like it’s written, unless I write it myself.
I made some tweaks to the original recipe, and I am absolutely floored with how well this sauce turned out. I’m not even going to mention the chicken… I mean, it’s chicken. But the avocado sauce?! Holy cow. Wham bam, thank you ma’am. I’ll take another helping.
The best part about it is that it’s healthy and that it takes no time to make!
How To Make Avocado Sauce
- 1 Avocado
- 1/3 cup Plain Greek Yogurt
- 1 Squeeze of Lemon
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- Pepper to taste
- Put all the ingredients in a food processor. Pulse until creamy.
- Serve any way you wish!
