Beauty is an expensive business, isn’t it? Every time you turn around you’re spending money on face wash, or moisturizer… or that gorgeous pink lipstick. Regardless of if you’re a beauty enthusiast or a beauty minimalist, I think we can all agree it’s nice to treat our skin from time to time. One of my favorite ways to treat my skin is with facial masks. I’ve tried dozens and dozens of face masks in my lifetime. I’ve tried some good face masks and terrible face masks. I’ve tried cheap face masks and expensive face masks… and you know what? Sometimes the cheap masks are just want the doctor ordered. Plus, they won’t drain your wallet. Today I’m sharing my picks for the best cheap face masks!
There’s another benefit to cheap face masks – they’re easy to find – you can pick them up when you’re strolling through the grocery store or you can add them to your amazon cart. None of these masks are over $12, either… #winning.

The Best Cheap Clay Mask
I guarantee you’ve seen this mask in your local grocery store (you can also buy it on Amazon). You can pick it up at Ulta, too. A giant tube is $3.99 at Walgreens. Yes, seriously. It’s the Freeman Dead Sea Minerals Anti-Stress mask. It’s great for breakouts and I like to use it when I’m in need of a good deep cleansing. Also, this lasts for-ev-er. Talk about bang for your buck!
The Best Cheap Sheet Mask
Last year I purchased a set of 11 of these Tonymoly sheet masks on Amazon for $12. Just over $1 a mask seemed like a good deal, so I bought them and quickly fell in love with them. I’d say my favorite is the moisture mask… but I love them all and I can’t definitively choose. Don’t make me choose, ok?
The Best Cheap Pore Strip
I haven’t found a paper pore strip that I’ve liked. I find that the places I need them most (the contours of my nose) “hide” from those types of masks. When I was browsing Amazon one night (yet again) I found this Hell Pore Clean Up Mask from Elizavecca I decided to give it a go. I liked that it was a liquid and I wouldn’t have to rip a paper strip from my face.
Because it’s a liquid it fits in the contours of my nose super well. I let it sit for 20 minutes and then I peel it off with no residue. Plus, I can see what’s been purged from my pores and it’s oddly gratifying. Anyone else feel that way?
The only down side? I can’t read the bottle because it’s in Korean (I think?). I blindly trusted the Amazon reviews, so… purchase at your own risk, but I really like the mask. 😉
Disclaimer: I did try this mask on my entire face once and found it to be a little too irritating. Since then I’ve used it just on my nose with great results and no irritation.
The Best Cheap Bubble Mask
Last fall I found this video floating around facebook of a girl putting on a bubble mask. I was so intrigued I decided to hop on to find it. It was the Elizavecca Milky Piggy Carbonated Clay Mask. It had amazing reviews on Amazon (still does), so I put it in my cart.
Trying it for the first time was so much fun. The bubbles were so tickly, but I LOVED that I was actually feeling something happening. In my mind I just pictured the bubbles bursting through my pores and clearing them out. After I use this mask my skin looks and feels incredibly clean.
